What is a PB GUID?

PunkBuster™ Anti-Cheat software technology and services combat online cheating in some of the most popular games being played over the Internet today. They also serve the online gaming communities that surround the games we support by keeping in direct contact with players, server administrators and league officials always watching for new developments in the "online game cheating world".

In an effort to promote fair play and discourage the activity of all cheating, a GUID must be entered for every Punkbuster™ compatible game you wish to participate in.

How To Retrieve Your PB GUID

To view your unique GUID, please join a Punkbuster™ enabled server; your GUID will be displayed upon entry (use the ~ console key to look at past server messages) or you may type pb_myguid in the console of most games to display your GUID manually. Your GUID is a long string of numbers and letters; you only need to enter the last 8 characters to become eligible for participation.
