Bio:
In 2002 @ age 18 I purchase my households first PC soon there after CnC Renegade demo was released. While pubbing in Renegade I quickly grew tired of ordering around players on my team. Any time I encountered a team player I would add him as a friend. Soon I had a large list of players who were skilled and could play as a team. I proposed the idea of starting a clan and when CnC Renegade was released Serious Gamers was formed.

Our beginnings were humble, we played on Game Spy Arcade, had a Geocities website and a Roger Wilco server. After Renegade we played 1942 causally but really made our mark in Planeside (an MMO-FPS) Where I brought the small squad big impact play style developed in CnC Renegade to a game which primary consisted of zerg tactics. People caught on to SG’s high standards of skill and when Planetside died out I had a small army of highly skilled members who needed a game to play.

We tried playing BF:2 in leagues our first attempt fell short for various reason. But eventually we were able to put together to successful BF2 season in TWL’s 5v5 league with the talent I had brought over from Planetside. As a clan we’re always looking for the next arena to compete in and when 2142 was release we set out to once again claim our stake.
